FA Plateau feeder

The VERBA FA feeder for piglets is equipped with a heavy stainless steel plateau where the piglets pick up the feed and possibly combine it with water at the bottom to make a mash themselves. The FA shelf feeders are suitable for small and large groups of pigs. For the FA the feed type does not matter, all feed types below can be fed without any problem.

Description

The VERBA FA feeder for piglets is equipped with a heavy stainless steel platform. As the piglets remove the feed from the platform with their snout or ears, they can make a mush in the trough using the drinking nipple. The FA troughs are suitable for small and large groups of pigs and are very robust. We often see these plateau feeders in organic stables or stables with an outdoor area. For the FA it does not matter what kind of feed, all the types of feed listed below can be fed without any problem. The VERBA nipples are easily accessible and with a water output of 0.4 liters per minute they ensure a perfect feed/water ratio and optimal feed conversion, making this feeder cost-effective. The best mounting location for small groups of pigs is fixed in the corner. For large groups of pigs they can be switched so that there is single 1 stand pipe for water.
