Welcome to Nijnsel, the beating heart of “The Meierij of ‘s-Hertogenbosch” and the epicentre of traditional clog production in the southern Netherlands. Recycled plastic
Since 1971, VERBA has been renowned for its commitment to hygiene, efficiency, safety and sustainability in pig feeders for pigsties. In the late 1970s, we phased out asbestos cement and switched to recycled plastic, putting us at the forefront of the industry.
Our innovative approach knows no bounds. In the early 1980s, we introduced the baby food pot, which reduced pig manure production by 50 per cent. This resulted in significant environmental benefits. As a family business, we are continuing in this spirit of innovation.
The world’s largest range of pig feeders
The current generation offers the most extensive range of pig feeders and automatic feeders in the world. Our range includes more than two hundred different feeder models, all of high quality and optimised for ease of use and the welfare of the pigs. Furthermore, our unique feeder designs ensure optimal feed conversion (FCR). We also offer maternity pens feeding troughs, piglet castration and underfloor heating. We also provide bespoke solutions tailored to your specific requirements.
Sustainability first
Sustainability is at the heart of VERBA. Virtually all our raw materials are recycled and our paper, plastic and stainless steel waste is carefully processed. Our production facilities are powered by solar energy. Furthermore, we try to source our suppliers as locally as possible to reduce CO₂ emissions. Thanks to our extensive dealer network, our sustainable pig feeders are distributed worldwide – and perhaps soon in your barn too.

In 1971, former pig farmer Bert Verbakel developed the perfect pig feeding trough. The third generation has now joined our family business, and we continue to develop solutions for the ideal barn layout.
