The VERBA dry feeder for fattening pigs with stainless steel trough is suitable for all types of dry feed, possibly mixed with 35 % CCM. The feeder is specially designed for pigs from 20 to 120 kg. The large bunker capacity and the variety of types makes the dry feeder extremely suitable for feeding small to very large groups of fattening pigs. The Verba dry feeder is enormously robust due to the use of stainless steel 304 combined with unbreakable PE plastic. The sophisticated stainless steel anti-spill rim is completely closed and ensures excellent hygiene because no food can creep in and spoil. In addition, this anti-spillage rim ensures that there is virtually no spillage of feed and it also ensures optimum feed conversion which saves considerably on costs. The eating compartments are separated by a stainless steel round bar frame with upper and lower brackets where pigs cannot get stuck with their ear tags. These feeding compartments are fully pierced through the stainless steel front and then fully welded so that they cannot break out even if the welds should fail. The inside of the Verba pig dry feeder is completely white which ensures the best feed intake of your pigs and it makes the hygiene in the stable visible. The in-house developed and indestructible Verba adjustment with star knob works very easily and is very accurate and quick to adjust and always stays in position. This saves on labor time and ensures that the pigs never run out of feed. These details that we have been developing for 50 years ensure that the Verba dry feeders are excellent value for money and the best choice for your stable. All dry feeders are also available in a double version and can therefore also be set separately per pen.
For heavier pigs, we can optionally mount stainless steel reinforcement profiles on the side walls of the feeder. A lid and mounting angles can also be included as an option.
The SM dry feeder is also frequently used as a goat feeder or sheep feeder.
