We are very proud of the owner of our company Bert PT1 kel who received a royal award from the Mayor of Meijerijstad on 26 April and was appointed Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau.
Bert's been a busy man his whole life. Apart from founder and owner of L. PT1 kel B.V. in 1971, he has always worked for all kinds of things and is not a man of sitting still.
Bert has been a co-founder and long-time member of the KLW association, an association of Classical Agriculture Tools with 800 members. He is still closely involved in various activities they organise, including the Rural Festival. http://www.klw-vereniging.nl/
In addition, Bert is founder, owner and passionate tour guide at the museum Hoeve Strobol in Nijnel. For years he has been working with many volunteers to offer visitors a beautiful day by giving guided tours in the museum of old crafts. For many years, Bert has volunteered at the Holy Oda parish in Nijnel. Bert is involved in the construction of the Saint Antonius chapel, the restoration of the Antonius of Paduakerk and the renovation and decoration of the Procession Park. In the late 1980s, Bert was a board member of the Carnival Association De Heikneuters in Nijnel. Bert was part of the cradle of the Mijnselse Bonte Evenings.
