On 10 January De Ploeg Techniek from Helmond installed our new ERBA debraam drum with us. With ceramic cones, compound soap, water and the rotating of this debraam drum we remove sharper edges and blackberries from our stainless steel semi-finished products. Because we do this during installation the mechanics cannot hurt themselves. When using the feeding troughs, the pigs cannot harm themselves at sharper edges at our feeding troughs. Moreover, the products also look better finished. We did this before, of course, but this was done entirely with the sanding band where this had to be done by hand. This was a lot of monotonous handiwork. Now we can use this capacity in another place, increasing our total production capacity, but certainly also the monotonous work is now done by a machine.
