At the end of January 2016, L. Verbakel B.V. will launch the new VERBA Speedfeeder. To meet the ever-changing demands and requirements of the market, the Speedfeeder has undergone a major overhaul.
The popular Speedfeeder is an automatic feeder for larger groups of fattening pigs or piglets, in which the feed is dispensed via a unique and robust stainless steel feeding mechanism. The four drinking nipples, which are fitted to a single riser pipe, ensure the correct water-to-feed ratio. By combining this with feeding through a natural rooting motion and the use of spill-proof edges and bars, feed wastage is virtually eliminated.
Thanks to its excellent value for money, L. Verbakel B.V. has sold well over 10,000 Speedfeeders in recent years.
One of the key features of the new Speedfeeder is the completely redesigned large transparent feed hopper. It has sloping sides and, thanks to its new streamlined shape, is less prone to dirt build-up and easy to clean. In addition, the Speedfeeder now comes with a lid as standard, which is worth 10 MIA/Vamil points.
The Speedfeeder is available as standard in widths of 50, 60, 80 or 120 centimetres.
Perhaps the best news of all is that the Speedfeeder has not gone up in price compared to its predecessor. L. Verbakel B.V. offers a 7-year warranty on the Speedfeeder and is renowned for its excellent in-house after-sales service.
