To celebrate the completion of the new stable at Maatschap Ernst in Borculo, an open day was organised on 22 April 2016. Through our dealer, Eeftink-Rensing Stalinrichting, Verba was able to supply 66 Speedfeeder 80 units (2016 model), and we were also given the opportunity to showcase our products during the open day.
Ernst has opted for the Verba Speedfeeder, which comes with a lid as standard. The lid helps to reduce fine dust in the barns during feeding. An additional benefit is that this measure earns extra points on the ‘Maatlat’ assessment scheme. As the barn meets the requirements of the ‘Maatlat Duurzame Veehouderij’ (Sustainable Livestock Farming Assessment Scheme), Ernst is entitled to claim a tax deduction of up to €400 per pig place.
The feed troughs have a raised rim and slats inside the trough, so that as little feed as possible is spilled.
The stable has been finished to a very high standard. We wish the Ernst partnership every success with their new stable!
