The Dutch Pig Innovation Centre Sterksel is the first pig farm with the StableStable concept that has been developed with the cooperation of L. Verbakel B.V. After weaning piglets go to their new home in their farrowing crate. The transition is less stressful. It is one of the facilities in the StableStable concept that stimulates natural behaviour as a guarantee for a healthy and stable pig life, which then increases welfare and improves profit margins per animal on the farm.
