On 6 October, Porculum, the sub-association of the ‘De Veetelers’ student association for the Animal Science programme at Wageningen, visited VERBA. This excursion was part of Porculum’s 6th lustrum (30th anniversary).
Factory tour
We gave a presentation about our company and the VERBA products. We were then given a guided tour of the factory and showroom in two groups of 13 people. Together, we discussed the pig farming sector in the Netherlands, as well as practical matters such as cleaning feed troughs and the animal-friendly and hygienic design of our automatic feeders. At the end of the visit, we were given a lovely little gift from Porculum, including an Olympigs book marking 30 years of Porculum.
